a giveaway for you!

Jodi of This That and the Other asked to feature my blog this week! How exciting! And to celebrate, I'm having a little giveaway. Remember this placemat?

placemat quilt

How about this one?

mini quilt monday

Notice a little theme? Placemat quilts! I'm also hosting the placemat quilt swap on flickr. Sign ups are this week. So pop on over to flickr if you are interested.

For the giveaway I am offering up one of these placemat quilts. The winner gets to choose which one he or she receives. So please leave a comment on this post (just one comment each), and let me know how I can get in touch with you. I'll pick a winner and posted on Saturday morning.

Ohhh, these are so pretty...I really like the idea of the black with polka dots in the center of the log cabins. Genius! I am excited about the swap, I hate the vinyl place mats my kids have been using...yuck!

In addition to loving your placemats, I also love houses and really need some motivation for my quilting area to start making those beach houses I recently saw in a book. I especially love the way Snoopy looks as if he is dancing.

I love reading your blog ... it's part of my lazy activity ... I sometimes take my laptop to bed with me at night instead of a book!!!!

Hmm, placemat quilts? I love that idea!

Kristin said...

What a clever idea to test a quilt vision -- placemats! I'm working on quilt blocks similar to your wonky log cabins but with different colored centers. I like how the black centers unify the blocks.
