I have renamed the quilt Polka Dot Estates (thanks for all the suggestions on flickr). LauraJay and I were talking about house quilts recently, and I sent her a link to Tonya's house tutorial. Guess what she called it? housing project! No wonder I thought it was a great name. I guess my subconscious held on to that name until I started my quilt. Sorry Tonya! Never meant to use your quilt name. Eek! Please accept my apologies!
Well, I'm glad to have this quilt finished. I had declared this the "year of quilts for my family". This is the first full sized quilt I have made for us to keep. I hope to have a few more quilts done by the end of this year for us too.
