playing catch up

marguerite was away at summer camp this past week. we are still doing school, so zach plugged away at his work since he is pretty independent now. i spent large blocks of time sewing. so refreshing.

i made all my blocks first. my reasoning was that if i made molly's blocks first, then i might take forever making my blocks. but if i make my blocks first, i will still make molly's blocks in a timely manner because i don't want to disappoint her. some how procrastinating on my own stuff doesn't bother me.

now to make molly's blocks!

oh! and i made july's blocks, so i will put those up this week. i made a little tute to go with one of them.

You do such a nice job free piecing, Sarah! Your blocks are lovely and your fabric choices are wonderful! I have a hard time choosing a background other than white!
