mug rug swap

i sent out my mug rug swap last week all wrapped up like a halloween package.





i showed you what the front looked like. my partner mentioned that she liked red + black + white combos. and she commented on someone else's bird mug rug. so i knew what i wanted to do on one side.





my partner also said she likes green and orange. i love green and orange! and she seemed to like halloween. she also mentioned that she likes butterflies.





i am usually a lame-o about sending extras, but this time i did pretty good. we weren't encouraged to send extras, but i couldn't help myself.

All of this was received by lynz. it was so fun to make and put it all together. and now i still get to receive a mug rug from someone. and the few that i really have my eye on haven't been claimed yet - yay!

and just for the record, the "bird bird bird" version i was referring to was the pee-wee herman version and not the family guy version. i heart pee-wee herman. did you just gasp?! don't you judge me!
