summer sewing

This summer I decided I was going to catch up on my swap sewing and also work on some projects that have been sitting. There are lots of ideas brewing in my head, but I don't want to start anything new until I get some of these other quilts and rows finished. I have notice with some of my online friends that when summer comes around they don't get as much sewing done because their kids are around more. Well, my kids are around all year long : ) During the summer, however, they don't need me as much. So I've been able to get more sewing done. It's been nice. Here is today's work:

I have one more word block to make, then I'll be able to put the top together. Yay!

No kids here at any time of year so I don't know what my excuse is for a summer slow down except I do spend more time outside and traveling.

Love the letters!

Great word blocks...I love how you did the 'q' and the 'u' in the 'quilts' block.

I can't wait to see more of your gnomes and 'shrooms...I think THOSE are AWESOME!!

In stitches,
Teresa :o)
