What a fun idea! Love the block you make for your quilt group too.

Your post about birds made me really wish I'd taken that ornithology class in college that I always wanted to take, but just never got around too. Oh well....maybe if I ever have a yard and a community college nearby, I'll do it!

Congratulations!!
And what a great idea! This will be perfect for a present for Charles, he uses moleskins.....and he ALWAYS looses his pencil :-) So now I just need a little time at my machine!

Thanks for your recent visit to my new blog, and for your comments. Your suggestions are noted, and as soon as I become better at this blog stuff I will attempt to incorporate them.

Hi,

I just came across your blog today. As soon as I saw the picture of Our Island Story I knew you were a fellow Ambleside homeschool mom. I have one graduated and one to graduate this year that have used AO/HEO for the past 6 years. Now we adopted a little girl so I guess I'll be starting over and getting to enjoy OIS. I'll be checking back often. Would love to know more about your homeschooling day.

Love your blog,
Cathy
