this time of year gets really busy. i've learned that the whole year is busy, but this part is the busiest. when soccer winds down, and the fall festivals start, and i start thinking of our family vacation that is almost here. and let's not even mention thanksgiving and christmas yet.
along with all my other commitments, i need to get my placemats in the mail for placemat quilt swap. i've finished the tops but i need to quilt and bind them now.
it's been fun creating these.

I just finished my 36 placemats for famiily Christmas gifts. And I made 7 scrappy blocks today using 1.5" strings. I also set up a machine embroidery design that will get done tomorrow and tonight I used EQ to design a hexie quilt to work on when we travel in Dec and Jan. Whew!
