Have you heard of the The Toy Society? It is a street art project started in Australia. Check it out, it's pretty neat how it has spread.
I showed the kids the project and thought it would be a good project for us to work on occasionally. I used a monster pattern from RevoluzZza. A quick and easy project.
We "dropped" it at Zach's soccer game last night. We put it up before the game started because it would be seen by people leaving the first and second games. When we left the game it was still there. There are games today i'm sure, so it should find a home soon. I hope it brightens someone's day.
We plan on doing this again. How about you? Would you like to do it too?

Funny you should ask! I just completed my toy for the toy drop. Check out my blog soon to see it! I did a post about this a few weeks ago.
LOVE LOVE LOVE this idea! I'm going to do it, too!! Love your monster.. maybe I'll start with that, too. I can't wait to get started!
It's such a great idea and I'm so curious how it will turn out! I read recently that sometimes people assume there's a catch, and so may not take it. It's an adorable little critter! I hope it finds a wonderful home.
OK, I'm embarrassed, but I went to the Toy Society site twice and tried to enter my info, and twice I accidentally hit something that sent it before I was ready. Do they have to OK me, or tell me exactly how to do a drop? Or ... what are the rules? I already made a green monster. What is it you put on the little card that says "Take me Home?"
I love the idea. My kids wouldn't miss a beat in claiming that monster. :)
I wish I could write well enough French to do that around here. People wouldn't understand if I wrote in English.
Okay, so I went to The Toy Society and read nearly every entry. Of course I had to sign up too! This is going to be so much fun!
Didn't I see this toy found on their site? Good on ya! I posted my toys today, check them out!
what a GREAT idea :D
